Thinking on our feet and taking the right calls can make the difference between life and death. Our emergency department works quickly and efficiently under nerve-wracking circumstances while handling all types of cases, from minor to the most challenging. Using an all-hands-on-deck approach to saving lives and specialising in emergency treatment, we thus administer the best possible critical care to all our patients. Our emergency team works in a layered hierarchy to ensure that resources are used judiciously and with maximum precision. A Casualty Medical Officer (CMO) is on duty 24X7. There is also a senior Sister-in-charge who is assisted by skilled staff nurses and nursing assistants. Cases requiring special attention are further attended by the respective speciality consultant. 1.
